A Journey of Resilience AND Hope

Rowing solo, winning together
I’m Leo Krivskiy and in January 2025 I will be rowing solo across the Atlantic Ocean, pushing myself to the limit and testing the depths of my resilience. But this mission is not just about personal challenge and adventure; it is also driven by a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Through my charity and humanitarian work in Ukraine, I have witnessed the struggles and hardships faced by medical professionals. As a doctor, this has driven me to undertake a new fundraising challenge to help support and provide the medical supplies they require.
Join me on my incredible journey as I row the Atlantic to raise funds for my Ukraine Medical Charity, Ukrops, and help improve the lives of my colleagues and their patients.
The Man Behind the Mission - Leo Krivskiy
Driven by my deep personal connections with colleagues and friends I've met in Ukraine, and supported by my medical expertise, I am inspired to undertake a solo row across the Atlantic. This endeavour is to raise awareness and funds for ‘Ukrops’, my charity that supports the crucial work of doctors and medics in Ukraine.

Rowing TO MAKE a Difference
in Ukraine
My charity, ‘Ukrops,’ is dedicated to providing medical and humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
I am deeply committed to supporting Ukrainian medical professionals, focusing on providing them with essential equipment and hospital supplies. To streamline the process, I've teamed up with Medical Lifelines Ukraine, assisting in the logistics of equipment supply. Additionally, I've been actively involved in conducting educational programs for Ukrainian doctors.
The aim of ‘Ukrops’ is to create a lasting impact, particularly by assisting doctors in leadership positions within hospitals, to foster positive change and enhance patient care in the midst of war's extreme challenges.

Ukraine's Medical Heroes
Rowing the Atlantic solo is not just a personal endeavour for me; it is a mission fuelled by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to effect positive change.
Through my charity work in Ukraine, I have witnessed the resilience and dedication of medical professionals facing unimaginable challenges. By supporting ‘Ukrops’ and joining me on this incredible journey, your donations will make a huge difference to the lives of many.
In this limited amount of time that I have left before leaving for Gran Canaria in December, my attention has been focussed on tidying up my knowledge and skills which are vital for the success of my project, particularly related to the boat’s electrical set-up. There have been some important changes in my team, which make me a lot more confident about being able to reach our goals. The boat is now out of the water for the final stages of the prep, which will involve an inventory of the equipment and food and trying to fit it into it in a way that is safe and with an easy access to the kit that I might need in an emergency.
My journey is fully planned and the ferry tickets are booked. I am leaving the UK with the boat in tow on December 10th and arriving in Gran Canaria on the 15th with a plan to push off to Barbados before Christmas.
